Quão importante é a atenção plena para você?
V: Praticar o mindfulness diariamente e consequentemente a alimentação consciente mudou totalmente o meu modo de vida e a minha relação com a comida. Hoje gostaria de compartilhar com vocês minha experiência e poder lhe dar meu apoio antes, durante e depois da semana de jejum. Iniciar uma jornada de mindfulness o levará a cuidar de si mesmo e a restabelecer uma relação de amor com seu corpo e mente em plena consciência.
Como você abordou a dieta ProLon?
V: Sempre fui apaixonado por comida; minha mãe me acostumou a comer bem. Quando eu era criança, não havia refrigerantes, salgadinhos ou doces em casa. Na escola, lembro que comia como lanche um pedaço de bolo caseiro ou um sanduíche com pedaços de chocolate amargo dentro. Aí, durante a universidade, comecei a querer entender muito mais sobre o nosso corpo, como poderíamos prevenir doenças e o que poderíamos fazer para nos ajudar a viver bem e por muito tempo. Em 2016 li o livro do Valter Longo, A Dieta da Longevidade, e gostei muito. Eu também dei para minha mãe. Você acha que a prática consciente pode ser útil no apoio à dieta ProLon?
V: Acredito que a atenção plena e, em particular, a alimentação consciente são essenciais para aproveitar ao máximo os benefícios da Dieta de Imitação do Jejum. Eliminar as distrações, focar no momento presente, provar novos sabores, cheiros e sensações com plena consciência ajuda a reduzir o estresse e a desacelerar os processos de envelhecimento celular. Nossas mentes e corpo estão intimamente conectados. Está cientificamente comprovado que o mindfulness leva à redução dos níveis de cortisol, diminui os níveis de substâncias químicas inflamatórias como as citocinas, aumenta a produção de melatonina e serotonina, hormonas envolvidas na prevenção do stress e dos processos de envelhecimento, aumenta a resposta imunitária.
O que você espera da dieta ProLon?
